How it works
Follow these simple steps to get started
Visit Webkul Website
Click on the 'Get Started' button in the bottom of the page to navigate to the Webkul website.
Account Registration
Select 'Sign Up'
Register your account
Complete registration form:
- Your Seller Name. This is your merchant name that will be used for your store
- Enter your email address
- Create a password and confirm
Dashboard Navigation
Expand 'Products' tab on the left-hand menu
Product Listing
After 'Products' tab expands, select 'Product Listings'
Product Addition
Click on "Add Product" button on the top right corner
Enter Product Information
Enter required information on the form:
- Product Name
- Product Type (optional)
- Description (optional but product without a description won't sell as quickly)
- Product Tags (optional, but the addition of tags helps with your products showing up in search results)
- Weight Unit (optional)
- Weight (optional)
- Requires Shipping (optional)
- Price (optional but required if your product is for sale, not auction)
- Compare at Price (optional)
- SKU (optional)
- Barcode (optional)
- Track Inventory (optional)
- Variant Details (optional)
- Product Image (optional, but products with no image have a very low chance of selling)
- Collections (Optional - you can select multiple applicable storefront collections where your product will be listed)
- Once done, hit "Save Changes"
Auctions vs. Normal Sale
Our platform allows sellers to auction their products and buyers to participate in the bidding process. Listing your products for auction is totally optional.
Prerequisite: Complete Product Setup
In order to start an auction, your products must have been successfully set up following the instructions from the previous tab.
View Auction
Click on the 3 dots to the right of the edit button and select "View Auction”.
Add Auction
On the Auctions page, click "Add Auction"
Complete Auction Setup
Follow the instructions on the page to complete the settings for your auction listing.
